Green Tea and Weight Loss
Green Tea has long been known for its numerous health benefits including aiding weight loss. Drinking green tea can lower your cholesterol, increase theromogenesis and enhance fat oxidation.


Green Tea contains caffeine and high amounts of catechin polyphenols both thermogenics that increase the body’s ability to burn fat. Green tea also prevents ingested carbohydrates from being released too quickly, ensuring regulated blood insulin levels.

To promote weight loss, it is suggested we require somewhere between 300-1000mg of catechins per day. The average cup of green tea contains 100mg. Three or more cups of green tea daily is said to be beneficial during weight loss.
